Design Inspiration for the Day God Created the Whole Universe

The design inspiration for "Day 4 of Creation: Seasons" comes from Genesis 1:14-18 in which God created the sun, the moon and the stars that would mark the seasons, days, and years.

Think about this for a minute—on Day 1 God created light, but He didn't create the sun (which we often consider the source of light here on earth) until Day 4! MIND BLOWN… Also, it is written that God created all the stars of the sky on Day 4. According to science, there are 150-200 billion stars just in our Milky Way galaxy alone! We also know through science that there are at least 100 billion known galaxies out there (likely 200 billion or more if we had the technology to prove it), each with hundreds of billions of their own stars. If you are following, on Day 4 God created the entire universe. MIND BLOWN again…

The Biblical account of Day 4 really showed me a new side of how powerful God is. He created light on Day 1, yet with one more simple command, He put the light into the sun, moon and stars on Day 4 in order to help us keep track of the days, seasons and years and also to help us navigate the earth. It's just so fascinating to me that He thought of all of this before we were even created. I have always read over this Scripture without thinking about the “gravity” of it (see what I did there?). And I thought my days were busy…
